Usually, the letters to the editor in the Rocky Mountain News are of a relatively vapid quality. And then, on occasion, we get crap like this:
Nightmare for Dems
The Democrats’ worst presidential election nightmare has occurred: They have been im-Palin-ed with John McCain’s vice presidential choice.
What the fuck?
Who on the Rocky’s editorial staff thinks this is valid “content”? This is nothing more than first-grade quality name-calling. What’s the point of publishing this?
John McCain is a do-do head. There. Top that, Mr. Schwartz!

It’s a mind-fucking meme. “The Democrats are desperate” because of Palin. Blast-faxed everywhere and on all rightwing echoplexes.
It’s a projection, of course, because the Republicans themselves are deperate; for ideas, for supporters, for their own failing integrity. I fucking hate them with the intensity of a thousand blazing suns.
