Halfway through I concluded that it was a giant steaming pile of pure, paranormal, quasi-psychological, Jungian meta-bullshit.

The story line/dialogue sounds strangely similar to the other, equally shitty TV show, “Angel of Death” or “Touched by an Angel” or whatever idiotic name it was. The one with Della Reese and the special-ed, Irish lady.
